About

I'm a Senior at DGIST majoring in Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and an Undergraduate Research Intern at Interactive Robot Lab, DGIST. I work on Physical AI. My research keyword is Embodied intelligence, robot learning, and robot perception. I build agents that can understand and act in the physical world. My ultimate goal is to build a Real-Life Baymax.

Inflatable Whole-Body Robotic Skin with Internal ToF Depth Sensing

May 2025 – Current, at Interactive Robot Lab, DGIST

  • Inflatable robotic skin using a single-piece envelope with 116 ToF sensors across 16 modules at 20 Hz.
  • Detects whole-body contact during human-robot interaction, providing geometric safety margins and sensitive contact measurement.
  • A neural network predicts nominal skin geometry from joint angles to localize external contact as deviations.
